The Technical Seminar on "DC Transmission and Power Electronic Equipment" was held in Rugao

On June 8-9, 2018, the "DC transmission and power electronics equipment" technical seminar hosted by the DC transmission and power electronics professional committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering was held in Rugao, Jiangsu Province. Xie Liangliang, vice president and secretary-general of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. At the opening ceremony, Academician Li Lipeng, Chairman of the Special Committee, delivered an opening speech, and Chen Jie, Vice Mayor of Rugao City, and Ma Bin, Chairman of Jiangsu Shenma Power Co., Ltd., the organizer of the meeting, delivered a welcoming speech. More than 100 representatives from domestic and foreign universities, research institutes, power operation, design and planning enterprises, and power equipment manufacturing enterprises attended the meeting.
The meeting also invited Professor Liang Xidong from Tsinghua University, Dr. Mohamed Rashwan, Chairman of CIGRE SC B4, Dr. Ma Weimin, Vice President of State Grid Economic and Technological Research Institute, Dr. Liu Chao from National Energy Power Insulation Composite Materials Key Laboratory, Dr. Arman Hassanpoor, R&D Director of ABB (China) Power Grid Integration Company, and Guo Qi, Deputy Director of Power Grid Simulation and Control Technology Research Institute of China Southern Power Grid Research Institute Eight senior experts, including Cheng Tiehan, the deputy general manager of Taira no Takakiyo Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Jens Przybilla, the chief transmission and distribution technology expert of Infineon, attended the meeting to make keynote reports.
